Malta AI & Blockchain Summit – Less than 24 hours to go!

With less than 24hrs to go, the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit has been one of the most talked about blockchain events in 2019 so far!

Anyone who attended last years Malta Blockchain Summit, knows the event was BIG, and this was proven in attendance alone.  The whole island was buzzing with crypto enthusiasts and blockchain advocates, as the country also introduced it’s blockchain and cryptocurrency regulation on the same day of the event.

Malta’s very own president Joseph Muscat himself attended the event to give the announcement and usher in a new wave of technology advancements for Malta.

Throughout the streets of St.Julians, Malta, you could bump into patrons everywhere, sporting the Malta Blockchain Summit lanyard, and every evening was a road to crypto after parties, and project launch parties.

The final day concluded with a MASSIVE after party held, at Malta’s prestigious Draganoria, where revellers, exhibitors, speakers and the organizers shared in the success of the event.

We covered the 2018 event earlier this year in our article 2018 Year In Review: Our Blockchain Events Journey, where we spoke about the events we attended during 2018.

So, what’s going on at this years summit?

If there is anything that can be said about Malta, it is not only a finance island, but also a online gaming/gambling island, and with the previous blockchain summit, it also became known as the Blockchain Island, so, what would go better with this years event than to add a particular focus on AI too?!

This years spring event (May 2019) incorporates many levels of AI and Machine Learning companies, and initiatives to shed more light on the links between blockchain and AI technologies.  This is something that the organizers have been passionate about from the start, and many attendees are keen to see some of the projects being unveiled at the event.

Twice as nice!

Following the success of the 2018 summit, organizers announced that they will be running two events in 2019.  The first being tomorrow’s “Spring/Summer Edition”, and the second being their flagship Malta Blockchain Summit “Winter Edition” event on 7th-8th November 2019.

As Malta continues to make it’s mark in the world of blockchain, both events are set to be buzzing, with heavy attendance from blockchain and cryptocurrency advocates worldwide.

With a trip to Malta being as short as a rush hour journey across London, if you can bag a ticket, it’s recommended that visitors from the UK should check it out!
